To live a lie
Obligation.
Why?
Because the duty that bound me
Only served to confound me.
I wasted my time
Frustration.
Cry!
A life full of injustice
Sad, but I trust this
Feeling inside.
All I know
I can grow
Must make you go
To feel the flow
of life creeping back.
Accept it’s gone
Dead for long,
What once was strong
can’t malinger on
one of us must act.
Steady tension.
Tight.
The doorway to liberty
Was always within me
I open it you hide.
If the tree
Of irrationality
Holds a branch of insanity
That’s no surprise
If you free
your negativity
and release
inner purity
you’ll accept that it’s right.
Jubilation.
Pride.
To not fear the unknowable,
To face the unguessable
Head held high.
